Anmol Paudel is a 2021 research intern in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG), where he is engaged in research to speed up algorithms.  His work involves the use of machine learning, deep learning, model quantization, algorithm engineering, computer graphics, and parallel programming.

He is a Ph.D. candidate in the computer science program at Marquette University.  His research interests lie in the domain of algorithm development and optimization for high-performance computing, and his work as a doctoral researcher is also oriented in the same direction.  He devotes most of his time to speeding up algorithms and computational methods in applied sciences and scientific computing in an efficient and scalable fashion.  His undergraduate degree is in computer engineering, and he holds a master’s degree in computational sciences.

Besides work, Anmol likes to hang out with his friends, travel, and explore new cultures and cuisines.
