Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2013 provides the collaboration hub at the center of the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution. By automating the software delivery process, entire teams can collaborate across roles and track team actions and project artifacts such as requirements, tasks, bugs, source code, build results, and test results. Team Foundation Server 2013 enables team rooms, comprehensive reporting, and dashboards that provide historical trending, full traceability, and real-time visibility into software quality.
Support for Visual Studio 2013 is only provided on this current update, which is considered the Visual Studio 2013 Service Pack. The Visual Studio 2013 RTM version, released in November of 2013, will only be supported for one year after the release of this current update. - Install over the Internet:
- On this page, choose the Download button.
- Select the .exe option and then choose the Next button.
- To install now, choose the Run button.
- To download an installer that you can run later, choose the Save button. (When you install, the computer must be connected to the Internet.)
- To download an image to burn on a DVD:
- On this page, choose the Download button.
- Select the .iso option and then choose the Next button.
- Choose the Save button to download a DVD5 ISO image so that you can burn a DVD later.
- After downloading the ISO file, you should use the File Checksum Integrity Verifier tool to calculate and verify that the SHA-1 value for this file matches the value listed on the Visual Studio 2013 ISO Files SHA-1 Values page.
