Our employees are the heart of Microsoft. They are passionate about giving to address the issues facing our world. It’s part of our culture and how we live our mission. In 2025, Microsoft employees contributed $255.6M and over 1.2M volunteer hours, supporting 36,500 nonprofits in 110 countries. In Washington state alone, employees donated $88M to nonprofits and 477K volunteer hours. When we give, we contribute to a better world for all.

Change Agent Program

The Change Agent Program activates Microsoft employees to empower nonprofits to digitally transform and address society’s biggest challenges by leveraging Microsoft giving, skilling, and technology offers and resources. This program is available to all eligible Microsoft employees. Participation is optional and voluntary.
