    The Office 2013 VBA Documentation download provides an offline version of the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) developer reference for each of the Office client applications, as well as the VBA reference content shared amongst all the Office client applications (Office Shared). The VBA references available include:

    • Word
    For some applications, the downloadable compiled Help (CHM) file includes other references besides the VBA developer reference. For example, the Visio ShapeSheet reference is included in the Visio download, and the Outlook Auxiliary Reference and the Outlook MAPI Reference are included in the Outlook download.

    These references are also available in the MSDN library.
  • Supported Operating Systems

    Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows XP

    • Each download is a compiled Help file (a CHM file). You can open a CHM file in Windows by double-clicking the file name in Windows Explorer. These files do not provide context-sensitive Help (F1) functionality.
    1. Choose one or more of the Download buttons on this page to start downloading the reference or references you want.
    2. Do one of the following:
      • To start the installation, choose Open or Run this program from its current location.
      • To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, choose Save or Save this program to disk.
    3. To open the CHM file, double-click the file in Windows Explorer at the disk location where you saved it.
      • Note: If you open the CHM file and cannot view content, do the following to resolve the issue:
        1. Close the CHM file.
        2. In Windows Explorer, right click the CHM file, and then click Properties.
        3. Click Unblock, and then click OK.
        4. Double-click the CHM file to open it.
