A high school jazz band embarks on a bus trip to California for an international band competition under the watchful eye of band teacher, Mr. T. Band members and friends, Morgan, Maddy, and Jason plan to have the time of their lives. Their bus breaks down and they’re forced to stay at a nearby motel for the night. Maddy and Morgan are close friends and maybe interested in each other, but Morgan wants to still party and Maddy wants to wait until they become closer. With nothing to do, the teens decide to have an orgy. Not knowing how to have an orgy, they resort to playing “Truth or Dare”, a kid’s game. The next day, MR. T takes the group to a historical site. It was a complete bust. That night, the teens try another more serious orgy which is better but still lame. The next morning, Mr. T gets a friend's beat-up Winnebago and they all pile in and head to California to at least catch the dance party, the final event in the band competition. After several problems were overcome by the teens, they had a great time at the dance. Months later, Morgan and Maddy meet again at a wedding and Maddy agrees to give their relationship another chance.
