    The Microsoft Intune Company Portal for Android app helps users search, browse and install apps made available to them by their company, through the Microsoft Intune online service. Apps can be installed without requiring a connection to the corporate network. Users can also add their personal computers and devices to the service and locate contact information for their IT team.

    The Microsoft Intune Company Portal for Android app is available from the Google Play Store to allow end users to download and install the app to their own device. For devices without access to the Google Play Store, administrators can download and deploy the Microsoft Intune Company Portal for Android. Note: if users are able to access the Google Play Store to download the Company Portal app, you do not need to deploy this version of the app. Functionality is identical between versions.

    IMPORTANT: Use of this software requires an organizational account and connectivity to the company’s valid subscription to Microsoft Intune™. Updates to the service may be required for proper performance. Some functionality may not be available in all countries.     By downloading and using Microsoft Intune Company Portal for Android you agree to such license terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the software.

    Note: Download the com.microsoft.windowsintune.companyportal.apk to a local share and side-load the Company Portal app onto the Android device.

    Other Requirements:
    • A Microsoft Intune subscription or System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager with a Microsoft Intune subscription
  • After downloading the Company Portal APK, you will need to side-load it onto the Android device. Doing this will require allowing installation of apps from unknown sources on the device, since the APK is not coming from the Play Store.
    • Connect your device to a computer using USB and copy the APK to the device
    • In the device Settings menu, browse to Security, and check the box next to "Unknown sources"
    • On the device, browse to the APK that you copied and tap on it. This will start the installation.
