Lumia storage

Pre-installed software and apps use a significant amount of the internal memory space on your Lumia.

The amount of free memory space available for your music, photos, videos, and other content depends on the memory size of your Lumia.

Note: Available memory size can vary in certain operator variants.

If you need more storage space, you can use one of the following storage options:

MicroSD card. If your Lumia supports microSD memory card, insert the memory card into the memory card slot on your Lumia. Memory cards are sold separately.

OneDrive. Save your files on OneDrive — OneDrive is free cloud storage that comes with your Microsoft account¹.
