Doug Patterson

Doug Patterson is a researcher in the Applied Sciences Group in Redmond. His research interests are in display technologies and wireless communications.
Doug received his M.Eng. in Electrical and Information Sciences from Cambridge University in 2001. He has worked at Philips Research Labs, where he patented novel 3D graphics architectures, and at Imagination Technologies, where he worked on the first generation of mobile GPUs. In 2004 he founded Setred to make the world’s best autostereoscopic 3D display and led the engineering effort that took the technology into the neurosurgery operating theatre.
