Allison/Sneldork Slider Box

This box has two treadmill-like sliders in it. Motion of each is detected optically from bars on the sliding belts of each, as they move up and down. Hence, each is a 1-DOF relative controller. These were developed for music performance, but were also used in our 1985 two-handed input study.
