- Warum sind Softwareupdates erforderlich?
Microsoft setzt sich dafür ein, seinen Kunden Software bereitzustellen, die auf ihre Sicherheit getestet wurde. Natürlich kann kein System absolute Sicherheit garantieren, aber wir setzen Prozesse, Technologien und verschiedene spezialisierte Teams ein, um Sicherheitsprobleme zu untersuchen, zu beheben und daraus zu lernen, damit wir dieses Ziel erreichen. Außerdem geben wir unseren Kunden Anleitungen an die Hand, wie sie ihre Computer schützen können.
Im Rahmen des Softwarefreigabeprozesses von Microsoft werden alle im Download Center bereitgestellten Softwareprogramme auf Schadsoftware überprüft, bevor sie zum öffentlichen Download verfügbar gemacht werden. Zusätzlich wird die im Download Center verfügbare Software auch nach der Freigabe regelmäßig auf Schadsoftware überprüft. Microsoft ist sich bewusst, dass sich das Bedrohungsumfeld ständig ändert und sich auch in Zukunft weiterentwickelt. Daher fühlen wir uns verpflichtet, die Prozesse zum Schutz unserer Kunden vor Bedrohungen durch Schadsoftware kontinuierlich zu verbessern.
- Wie kann ich meine Software auf dem neuesten Stand halten?Microsoft bietet eine Reihe von Onlinediensten an, die Ihnen helfen, Ihren Computer auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten. Windows Update findet Updates, von denen Sie nicht einmal etwas gehört haben, und bietet Ihnen die denkbar einfachste Methode zum Installieren von Updates, die Sie dabei unterstützen, Probleme zu beheben bzw. Das Microsoft Download Center wurde kürzlich überarbeitet. Sie finden nun an einem einzigen Ort Produkte, die Sie erwerben können, sowie Produkte und Downloads, die kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Produkte, die Sie erwerben können, sind direkt mit Microsoft Store verknüpft. Produkte, die als kostenlose Downloads verfügbar sind, sind mit Detailseiten verknüpft, auf denen Sie weitere Informationen finden und Downloads starten können.
Wenn Microsoft Ihren Computer überprüfen und Updates empfehlen soll, lesen Sie den vorangegangenen Abschnitt. Wenn Sie selbst nach bestimmten Downloads suchen möchten, entscheiden Sie sich für eine der folgenden Vorgehensweisen.
- Klicken Sie auf der Navigationsleiste, die in der Mitte der Download Center-Startseite angezeigt wird, auf ein Symbol, um nach Produkten und Downloads zu suchen.
- Wenn Sie nach einem bestimmten Produkt oder Download suchen möchten, klicken Sie auf der Menüleiste oben auf der Seite auf den Namen eines Menüs, und klicken Sie dann auf das Produkt oder den Download.
- Wenn Sie nach Stichwörtern suchen möchten, geben Sie oben auf der Seite im Suchfeld Download Center durchsuchen die Stichwörter ein, nach denen Sie suchen möchten.
Auf der Seite mit den Suchergebnissen wird möglicherweise Folgendes angezeigt:
- Es wird eine Auswahlliste mit Produkten und Downloads angezeigt. Die Empfehlungen basieren auf den Suchbegriffen.
- Auf der rechten Seite wird ein Feld zum Sortieren angezeigt.Klicken Sie auf den Pfeil nach unten, und wählen Sie eine Anzeigereihenfolge für die Suchergebnisse aus.
- Auf der linken Seite wird eine Liste mit Filteroptionen angezeigt. Klicken Sie auf eine Filteroption, um die in den Suchergebnissen angezeigte Liste der Produkte und Downloads einzuschränken. Der Umfang der Suche wird von der Filteroption zusammen mit dem ursprünglichen Suchbegriff eingeschränkt.
Wenn ein Produkt oder ein Download angezeigt wird, das bzw. der für Sie von Interesse ist, klicken Sie auf den zugehörigen Link, um weitere Informationen zum Download oder zum Erwerb anzuzeigen.
- Wie finde ich Downloads in anderen Sprachen?
Microsoft stellt weltweit Downloads in mehr als 118 Sprachen zur Verfügung. Im Download Center werden nun alle englischsprachigen Downloads in einem einzigen "englischen" Download Center zusammengefasst. Separate Downloads für Englisch (USA), Englisch (Großbritannien), Englisch (Australien) und Englisch (Kanada) werden nicht mehr angeboten.
Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten, nach Downloads in anderen Sprachen zu suchen:
- Aufrufen einer weltweiten Download Center-Website
- In der Fußzeile jeder Seite der englischen Download Center-Website können Sie auf Worldwide downloads klicken.
- Klicken Sie in der Liste auf eine Sprache. Sie werden zu einer weltweiten Download Center-Startseite geleitet, auf der Sie nach in der ausgewählten Sprache verfügbaren Downloads suchen können.
Hinweis: Die Downloaddetailseiten auf weltweiten Download Center-Websites werden, sofern möglich, in den entsprechenden Sprachen angezeigt. Wenn jedoch nicht englische, sprachspezifische Details nicht verfügbar sind, werden diese in Englisch angezeigt. Wenn der Download selbst in einer bestimmten Sprache nicht verfügbar ist, wird er auf der ausgewählten weltweiten Website nicht angezeigt.
- Auswählen eines Downloads in einer anderen Sprache auf der englischsprachigen Website
- Auf der Downloaddetailseite für ein bestimmtes Produkt wird unter "Quick details" das Feld Change language angezeigt. Wählen Sie in der Dropdownliste die gewünschte Sprache aus.
Hinweis: Das Feld Change Language wird nur dann angezeigt, wenn eine lokalisierte Version des Downloads verfügbar ist. Wenn das Feld nicht angezeigt wird, ist der Download nicht in anderen Sprachen erhältlich. Wenn das Feld vorhanden ist, eine bestimmte Sprache darin jedoch nicht aufgeführt wird, ist der Download in dieser Sprache nicht verfügbar.

- Sprache wechseln

- Cache löschen
Wenn ein Download nicht abgeschlossen werden kann, müssen Sie möglicherweise in Windows Internet Explorer den Cache leeren. Führen Sie dazu die folgenden Schritte aus. Je nach installierter Version von Internet Explorer können die Schritte leicht abweichen.
- Klicken Sie in Internet Explorer im Menü Extras auf Internetoptionen, und klicken Sie dann auf die Registerkarte Allgemein.
- Klicken Sie im Abschnitt Browserverlauf auf Löschen.
- Klicken Sie im Dialogfeld Browserverlauf löschen im Abschnitt Temporäre Internetdateien auf Dateien löschen. Klicken Sie dann auf Ja, wenn der gesamte Cache mit temporären Internetdateien geleert werden soll.
- Klicken Sie im Dialogfeld Browserverlauf löschen im Abschnitt Verlauf auf Verlauf löschen. Klicken Sie auf Ja, wenn Sie gefragt werden, ob der Verlauf der besuchten Websites gelöscht werden soll. Klicken Sie abschließend auf Schließen.
- Klicken Sie auf der Registerkarte Allgemein im Abschnitt Browserverlauf auf Einstellungen. Wählen Sie im Dialogfeld Einstellungen die Option Bei jedem Zugriff auf die Webseite aus. Legen Sie dann den zu verwendenden Speicherplatz für den Ordner Temporäre Internetdateien auf eine Größe fest, die größer als der geplante Download ist. Klicken Sie dann auf die Schaltfläche Dateien anzeigen.
- Öffnen Sie im nun angezeigten Fenster Temporäre Internetdateien das Menü Bearbeiten, und klicken Sie auf Alle auswählen. Klicken Sie auf Löschen. Klicken Sie auf Ja, wenn Sie gefragt werden, ob alle ausgewählten Cookies gelöscht werden soll. Klicken Sie mehrere Male auf OK, bis die Registerkarte Allgemein wieder angezeigt wird, und klicken Sie dann auf OK, um das Dialogfeld zu schließen.
- Automatisches Beenden deaktivieren
Ein Grund für einen abgebrochenen Downloadvorgang kann der sein, dass Ihr Internetdienstanbieter möglicherweise eine automatische Zeitüberschreitung eingerichtet hat, nach deren Ablauf bei fehlenden Benutzeraktionen die Verbindung beendet wird. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Internetdienstanbieter, um die automatische Zeitüberschreitung beim Herunterladen von Dateien zu deaktivieren.

- Wie installiere ich heruntergeladene Software?
Bevor Sie die heruntergeladene Software verwenden können, müssen Sie sie installieren. Wenn Sie beispielsweise ein Sicherheitsupdate herunterladen, dieses jedoch nicht installieren, bietet das Update keinerlei zusätzliche Sicherheit für Ihren Computer. Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, um einen Download zu speichern und zu installieren:
- Klicken Sie auf der Downloaddetailseite auf die Schaltfläche zum Herunterladen.
- Ein Dialogfeld wird geöffnet. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Speichern.
- Sie werden aufgefordert, auf dem Computer einen Ort für den Download anzugeben. Wählen Sie den gewünschten Ort aus, und klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Speichern.
- Sobald der Download der Datei abgeschlossen ist, wird ein zweites Dialogfeld geöffnet. Wenn Sie die Datei sofort installieren möchten, klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Öffnen. Dadurch wird ein Installations-Assistent geöffnet.
- Wenn die Datei nicht sofort installiert werden soll, klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Schließen.Wenn Sie die Datei jetzt installieren möchten, doppelklicken Sie auf die Datei, um den Installations-Assistenten zu starten.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie eine Downloaddatei speichern, merken Sie sich den Speicherort, um den Download später installieren zu können. Es empfiehlt sich, auf dem Desktop einen speziellen Ordner zu erstellen, in dem alle Downloads gespeichert werden. Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, um diesen Ordner zu erstellen:
- Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf eine freie Stelle des Desktops.
