Plan your Travel
The official event on March 18th starts at 8:00 with registration, light breakfast and coffee. The first keynote starts at 9:00.
If you arrive the day before the event, you are warmly welcome to join an informal pre-event reception also at AXICA Berlin. During the evening, you will get to meet your peers and connect with your Microsoft hosts already before the event days.
The event concludes at 18:00 on March 19th, so please plan your travels accordingly.
Note: Please wait for the email confirmation before booking your travel. As this event is an invite-only event, waitlist is managed manually.
Berlin Brandenburg (BER) Airport. AXICA Congress and Conference Center is located 30 km and approximately 50 minutes from the airport (by train).
Train:
In Berlin Airport arrival hall there is a DSB ticket office as well as ticket machines. You will need a fare zone Berlin ABC ticket (ca. 4,40 € one way), to go by train (located on the lower level). You can plan your travel using Google Maps.
Taxi:
We recommend using the app FreeNow or Uber to book a taxi.
Carsharing:
With, for example, Sixt Share, Free2move or Miles one can also easily rent a car via the app from the airport to the location. All carsharing vehicles can be found at parking P4.
Parking space is limited and liable to cost in Berlin city center. Our recommendation for a parking deck close to the event location:
APCOA PARKING, Hotel Adlon, Unter den Linden 77, 10117 Berlin
After arriving at the Berlin Central Station, Axica is only two stops further with metro line U5. The stop / exit is called Brandenburger Tor. You will need a short trip ticket fare zone Berlin A / AB (ca. 2,40€ one way).
Here are several suggestions for hotels in the vicinity:
Please note that these rooms are from a contingent at each hotel so availability is limited. The rooms may already be fully booked as the event date approaches.
