    This update is applicable to SQL Server 2019 RTM instances installed on supported Windows and Linux Operating Systems, and Linux containers.
  • This update refreshes Microsoft SQL Server 2019 RTM Windows and Linux instances that have had a Cumulative Update applied (versions 15.0.4003.23 (CU1) to 15.0.4261.1 (CU18)).

    For Microsoft SQL Server 2019 RTM for Windows and Linux instances (versions 15.0.2000.5 to 15.0.2095.3) that have NOT had any Cumulative Update applied, please see KB5021125. After you install this update, you may have to restart your computer.
