The Microsoft System Center 2016 Management Pack for Orchestrator - Service Management Automation monitors the health and availability of Microsoft System Center 2016 Orchestrator - Service Management Automation web services and runbook workers.
Feature Summary
- Discovery of Worker servers, Web Services, and their relevant properties.
- Monitoring and collection of counters indicating the performance of both Worker servers and Web Services. Includes alerting in case of performance degradation.
- Monitoring and collection of message queue length indicating runbook jobs waiting to be run.
- Collection of events indicating different runbook operations such as runbooks being created or started.
- Collection of events indicating change in status of a job such as started, suspended, and failed.
- Alerting in response to events indicating different runbook operations such as runbooks failing.
- Proactive monitoring of the availability of each Web Service.
- Proactive monitoring of the availability of the SMA database.

- Download the package and extract the three MP files to your computer by running the .exe.

- Open the Microsoft Operations Manager Operator console
- Click on the Administrator pane at the bottom left corner
- Expand the Management Packs node in the tree view
- Click on the Import Management Pack on the “Actions” pane on the right and then browse to the folder where you extracted the MP and then import it.
- Follow the instructions until you have finished importing the management pack module.
