  • Microsoft Designer is a graphic design and image editing app powered by AI. Create eye-catching images with your words, craft next-level designs that pop, and even edit photos like an expert. Designer is integrated across your favorite Microsoft apps like Word and PowerPoint to help you create when and where you need it.
  • Beyond the Microsoft Designer web and mobile app, certain Designer features are integrated across some of your favorite Microsoft apps like, Word and PowerPoint1 - helping spark creativity where and when you need it.
  • You will receive a fresh set of credits at the start of each month, and 1 credit will be deducted from your balance each time you interact with Copilot (e.g., having Copilot in Word draft a document) or Designer's AI features (e.g., creating an image based on your description). If you run out of free credits, you can upgrade to Microsoft 365 Personal or Family or to Copilot Pro to get more.
  • Personal and Family plans provide up to 4X more credits for the account owner to create and edit in Designer and to access Designer through Copilot in Microsoft apps like Word and PowerPoint. Copilot Pro provides at least 10X more credits  for the account owner to create and edit in Designer.  Each subscription includes additional benefits across apps which vary by plan.  Usage of credits are shared across AI experiences in Microsoft apps.
  • Designer is powered by generative AI. The use of generative AI features is limited to people who meet certain age requirements, which are different by region. Designer may not be available for your personal Microsoft account if you don’t meet the minimum age requirements for your region.
