Dicky was the pride of Lowell, Massachusetts for going toe-to-toe with champ Sugar Ray Leonard, but is now on hard times and a crack addict. Micky is now the family’s fighter, with his fledgling career going nowhere under the management of his mother Alice. When Micky’s latest mismatched fight nearly kills him, he is persuaded by iron-willed new girlfriend, Charlene, to do the unthinkable: split with the family, pursue his own interests and train without his troubled brother.
