This group had no name. They certainly had no plan. Seeing that their government wasn't going to act in time, they were called to action by an untamable desire to help their fellow citizens. Now known as The Cajun Navy, this Americans got in their boats and saved thousands of lives in Katrina and, later, Harvey.
