Webinar: Connecting clinicians, patients and health professionals
On Friday the 28th of April, we held a webinar with Digital Health – hosts of the CCIO Leaders Network, and providers of independent, trusted, market-leading news on the UK health IT sector. This webinar follows the one in January, where Stephen Docherty and Murat Soncul from South London and Maudsley (SLAM) presented their experience in successfully migrating 5,000 staff onto the Office 365 platform.
Enhancing patient experience, improving population health, and reducing costs of patient care is widely accepted as the Triple Aim to optimise health systems performance. At Microsoft, we believe the Triple Aim should be expanded to the Quadruple Aim of healthcare, adding the goal of improving the work-life balance of health care providers, empowering improved decision making and ultimately leading to a better patient experience.
The other week, Nick Lines and Paul Thomas talked about how the role of technology can play as an enabler to improve the effectiveness of care teams and also in their personal experience.
