Robert Lindsay and Zoe Wannamaker star as the long suffering husband and wife Ben and Susan Harper, parents of three very different and very difficult children. Although Nick may still be away, the return of Janey and the maturing of Michael will ensure that Ben and Susan will remain of the opinion that children, at least their children, are a different species - which, of course, they are!
