Louis Theroux signs up for his most dangerous assignment yet - patrolling the crime-ridden streets of Philadelphia with the city's police department. Covering an area which experiences over 400 homicides a year, there are drug dealers on every corner and carrying a gun is part of everyday life. But during his time spent with the local cops, he sees a complex picture evolve: yes, there are good guys, bad guys, guns and violence, but there is also tenderness and compassion to be found in the most unexpected places.
