Each episode follows Larry at home, at work and around L.A. as he lands himself in an assortment of predicaments with fictional and real-life personalities. In Season Six, an African American family named the Blacks is displaced by Hurricane Edna and end up moving in with Larry and Cheryl; plus, Larry invents the perfect excuse for missing parties, gets into a conflict with a dry cleaner and steals flowers from a car-crash memorial. Co-starring are Jeff Garlin as Larry's agent, Cheryl Hines as his wife and Susie Essman as Jeff's foul-tempered better half.
