When two friends, Ursula and Dominique, uncover an ancient book, they discover that it has supernatural powers to grant any desire written in it. Through escalating acts of vengeance, Ursula harms anyone who opposes her. Dominique realizes that the power the book gives its possessor will eventually destroy Ursula, leading her to dispose of it once and for all.
