For Cooper (Matthew Broderick - Ferris Bueller's Day Off), a Chicago journalist suffering from memory loss, life is anything but normal. After being dumped by his live-in girlfriend, he visits his rural hometown to try and convince his aging uncle (Alan Alda) he must go into a home...this is when things really get interesting.
