Or, to be more precise, they are drawn together by their status as the most popular and beautiful girls at Reagan High. They are at the height of their popularity when an innocent birthday prank played on Liz, the sweetest member of the clique, results in her accidental death. When class nerd Fern Mayo (Judy Greer) stumbles across their frantic attempts to cover up, Courtney makes a deal, they will make Fern beautiful and popular beyond her wildest dreams in exchange for her silence.
