  • The Workplace Discount Programme allows employees at eligible companies to buy an annual subscription of Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Personal at a discount for use on personal devices.

  • The Microsoft Home Use Program name was updated to Microsoft Workplace Discount Program in July 2022. Any previously purchased discounted products are not affected by the change in the programme name. You’ll continue to receive discounted rates on qualified subscriptions if you keep auto-renewal turned on.

  • Employees who work at a company that satisfies the Workplace Discount Programme eligibility requirements.

  • Yes. If you already have Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Personal, you can still take advantage of this discount. Once you purchase, additional time is added to your existing subscription, and the discounted rate will begin at your existing subscription’s annual renewal date. Be sure to specify the Microsoft account that’s associated with your current Microsoft 365 subscription during the purchase process.

  • The Workplace Discount Program offers discounts on the latest versions of Microsoft 365 Personal and Family, which are always up to date with premium versions of Microsoft 365 apps across all your devices.  

    Surface devices and accessories, Office Professional Plus, and Office Home and Business are no longer available through the Workplace Discount Program. Please go to the Order History page for more information on previous software purchases through the Workplace Discount Program.

  • Workplace Discount Programme reduced pricing on Visio Professional 2024 and Project Professional 2024 is only available if your employer's Workplace Discount Programme administrator has selected you for one or more product-specific discounts.

    Make sure you’re signed in to the Microsoft Store with your personal account associated with the Workplace Discount Programme to view the discounted price of the products.

    If you expect to see a discount on these products, please contact your organisation’s Workplace Discount Programme benefit administrator. Typically, the Workplace Discount Programme is managed by your organisation’s benefits coordinator, HR or IT departments.
