    The Microsoft Rights Management (Microsoft RMS) connector is an application that can be used to quickly enable existing on-premises servers such as Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft SharePoint to use their Information Rights Management functionality with the cloud-based Microsoft Rights Management services. Two files are available as part of this download: the RMS connector installer and a server configuration tool script which can be utilized to simplify the process of configuring Exchange and SharePoint servers to use the connector.   • Download and save the connector install package. Run the package on the installed computer and follow the instructions on the screen. You must have your Microsoft Rights Management or Office 365 tenant installed, configured and synchronized with your directory before installing the connector. After the connector is installed, authorize and configure the Exchange and SharePoint servers to utilize the connector. The server configuration tool can be used remotely or on these servers to configure them to use the connector.
