Unified Interface: Internet Explorer 11 Browser Update Issue
What is the issue?
We have identified an issue where Unified Interface applications in Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement and PowerApps with certain site map customizations do not render properly in Internet Explorer 11 browsers. Users affected by this will receive a blank page and possibly an “access denied” message when attempting to load some applications.
When did this break?
Window’s Patch Tuesday update on February 12th, 2019. Please see the KB Article for Update KB4486563.
This problem is identified in the ‘Known Issues’ section of the KB Article:
- “After installing this update, Internet Explorer may fail to load images with a backslash (\) in their relative source path.”
How can customers fix the problem?
The fix will be automatically deployed in the next patch Tuesday update.
