1. Access Outlook in your Microsoft Edge sidebar

If you're a frequent Outlook user, you'll love this time-saving feature. Microsoft Edge makes it incredibly easy to access Outlook online from your browser's sidebar.

Use Outlook while you browse the web

You now have a direct link to Outlook on your Microsoft Edge sidebar. When you select the Outlook icon on your sidebar, the Outlook pane will open. From there, you can access your inbox, calendar, contacts, and to-do list, all without navigating away from your current webpage.

2. Access Outlook on the web

To view Outlook in the full browser window, simply use its web version. This is a great option if you like to work with various Outlook features open in different tabs or if you need a larger version than the sidebar allows.

To access web-based Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure you're in Microsoft Edge, then open a new tab.
  2. Go to outlook.live.com.
  3. To open Outlook features in various tabs, right-click on the feature icon and select Open in new tab.

Streamline your email communication, organize your schedule, and even access Outlook right in your sidebar without navigating away from your page.
