Join the Mixed Reality Partner Program

The Mixed Reality Partner Program (MRPP) is a Microsoft-sponsored, community-driven program for partners that design, build, deploy, and operate mixed reality solutions. 
 
 MRPP partners have successfully helped customers in manufacturing, healthcare, retail, education, and many other industries to accelerate their digital transformation initiatives and improve business impact.

Mission

The mission of the MRPP is to enable solution providers, system integrators, and digital agencies to build and deploy breakthrough industry solutions by providing wide range of resources, opportunities to collaborate with Microsoft Mixed Reality personnel and incentives for delivering business results.

The goals of MRPP are:

Provide the most relevant and up-to-date information

Foster a community of partners creating and deploying mixed reality solutions

Help bring Azure-based mixed reality solutions to market

Tiers and requirements

Each tier has its own criteria for inclusion and compounding benefits. To become an MRPP partner, review the tier requirements & benefits below.


Membership in the program is from September 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024 no matter which month you join the program.
Re-tiering status, moving from Silver to Gold or Gold to Silver, will be reviewed quarterly based on criteria noted on the MRPP website. The data you enter in your MRPP Application Form will be used for tier review and can be updated at any time.

If doing business as an ISV

  • Partner must have an active Non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
  • Partner must have an active Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership.
  • Partner must have three developers complete the required Mixed Reality technical assessments on Partner University:
    • Device and Environment Considerations of a Quality HoloLens 2 Application (18811)
    • Managing Performance of a Quality HoloLens 2 Application (18812)
    • Building a Quality HoloLens 2 Application with the Mixed Reality Toolkit (18813)
    • Designing a Quality HoloLens 2 Application (18814)
    • Deploying HoloLens 2 devices in an enterprise environment(19006)
    • Using Azure mixed reality services (19007)

Associate your Microsoft Cloud Partner Program membership ID for Partner Center and Partner University – To get credit for passing the class, the developer or designer must have a personal Microsoft account registered with Partner University that is associated with your company’s Partner Center account.

  • Partner must have an application running on HoloLens 2 available for purchase.

 

If doing business as an ISV

  • Partner must have an active Non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
  • Partner must have an active Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership.
  • Partner must have an application running on HoloLens 2 available for purchase.
  • Partner must have three developers complete the required Mixed Reality technical assessments on Partner University:

*Pipeline opportunities must be tracked in the partner-managed pipeline portal. This will be used for re-tiering, deal support and other related activities.

 

If doing business as an ISV

ISVs and systems integrators may qualify for MRPP membership. 
 The MRPP was designed to support partners that are aligned with Microsoft’s mixed reality technology offerings and platform strategy. This includes partners that:

Have documented the quantitative business impact (ROI, topline results, cost savings, efficiency gains, productivity improvements, etc.) as well as qualitative results of mixed reality deployments.

Create innovative commercial solutions across both Microsoft HoloLens and third-party platforms such as iOS and Android-based mobile devices, and third-party immersive VR headsets.

Before you apply

Before applying, make sure your organization reviews criteria requirements.

The application process takes approximately 30-45 minutes. The applicant should be authorized to provide your company revenue estimates and establish company alliances. You will also need to provide your company Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership ID and Azure subscription ID.

All partners will be onboarded into the member tier.
