- ISV Success provides resources for building AI-powered apps with Azure OpenAI, access to Azure Cognitive Services, and training sessions on AI. Copilot developers can also enjoy advancements, including benefits like events, consults, and products.
- ISVs who are building B2B applications on the Microsoft Cloud and are willing to publish to the Microsoft commercial marketplace are eligible for ISV Success benefits—free for 12 months with no commitment to renew.
After 12 months, ISVs are eligible for the following discounted renewal packages—$1,500 (USD) annual fee for the Core Package and $4,000 (USD) annual fee for the Expanded Package. Apply here. - Yes, ISV Success benefits can complement other Microsoft programs like Microsoft for Startups. While you can’t stack Azure sponsorships, you can toggle between subscriptions.
- For renewal, you need to continue developing B2B apps, meet publication requirements, and maintain your Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program status. Renewal costs $1,500.
For the Expanded Package, you’ll be invited by your ISV Success Engagement Manager based on performance criteria and willingness to transact on the marketplace. - Through Marketplace Rewards, ISV Success offers sales and marketing support, including listing optimization, social promotion, and Azure Sponsorship for demos, helping you significantly boost marketplace sales.
- You must assign a company marketing contact in Partner Center, then activate desired sales and marketing benefits under the Marketplace Rewards tab. You’ll then receive follow-up support from the Marketplace Rewards team.
- Benefit tiers are based on marketplace performance, including billed sales and app engagement. Higher tiers offer greater benefits, such as additional Azure Sponsorship and dedicated engagement support. All benefits refresh every year on your anniversary date based on your performance in Trailing Twelve Months (TTM).
- ISVs publishing transactable offers, Teams Apps and qualifying Business Applications in Teams Store, AppSource or Azure Marketplace, are eligible for marketing and sales benefits, including Azure Sponsorship.
- ISV Success helps by facilitating the publication of transactable offers in the commercial marketplace, which is essential for accessing co-sell benefits, including technical consultations and marketplace visibility to accelerate sales. Additionally, you can access on-demand resources, Office Hours, and the Marketplace Community to get questions answered about transactable publishing.
- ISV Success supports ISVs offering transactable professional services only if it is attached to a transactable app owned by the same ISV. Publishing a professional service does not qualify for enrollment or renewal.
For Marketplace Rewards, MBS from professional services will not count towards the MBS tier. Only MBS from transactable apps will unlock Marketplace Rewards benefits.
