A young homeless man, Kevin, is a talented pianist sleeping rough on the brutal streets of steel city. Kevin survives these harsh conditions by playing his piano on the streets, sharing his musical gift with the world, but the world doesn't seem to recognize him. Across town, a young woman, Ellie, who has just suffered a tragic accident, recognizes her own musical gift for the first time. Two musical talents converge as they view life and society through the same musical lens, and yet vastly different perspectives. However, as they struggle to find their place in the world, it becomes apparent that they are not nearly as different as it once appeared.
