Brilliant professor Alex Harris (Fritz Weaver) has engineered a computer so powerful that it is capable of adapting, growing learning. As the machine becomes conscious, it yearns to escape its physical bounds and finds the perfect vessel in the professor's wife, Susan (Christie--Finding Neverland, Dr. Zhivago). Now, trapped in her own home by her husband's creation, Susan gradually realizes the computer's aim--to her everlasting horror.
