The fifth season of MACGYVER returns with everyone's favorite problem solver Angus MacGyver (Lucas Till) and his friends at the Phoenix Foundation traveling the globe, whether it's to destroy the Codex criminal syndicate once and for all, to rescue a woman holing up in an infamous criminal hideout, or to find the killer of a fallen friend. Also, Mac's relationship with Desi (Levi Tran) deepens after meeting her parents, but Riley's (Tristin Mays) feelings for Mac continue to grow. Under the aegis of the Phoenix Foundation, MacGyver and his friends take on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.
