Ah Sahm and the rest of 19th-century San Francisco Chinatown fight tooth and nail for control in Season 2 of the adrenaline-filled period drama series. As the intense rivalry between competing tongs--the Hop Wei and Long Zii--continues, both face numerous outside threats, including the brutal Fung Hai tong and its nihilistic leader Zing, the embittered Irish mob led by tough-as-nails bar owner Dylan Leary, and the hostile local government under self-serving Mayor Blake and his scheming deputy, Walter Buckley. Meanwhile, Ah Sahm is back with the Hop Wei and determined to rain vengeance on Long Zii's new leader, Mai Ling, who also happens to be his sister.
