Christina Applegate stars as Reagan Brinkley, a former TV producer who is still adjusting to motherhood. Having successfully balanced her roles as career woman, loving wife and new mom, Reagan decides to take a break from working to be the stay-at-home parent as her husband, Chris, begins his new business venture. In addition to this restructuring, Reagan must also tend to the needs of her best friend, Ava, who is coping with the recent cancellation of her talk show. As if this weren’t enough, Chris enlists Reagan’s brother, Scott to lend his expertise in starting a contracting firm, adding another cook to this already crazy kitchen.
