Bedtime Story: On Summer’s hottest night Little Nutbrown Hare finds it hard to sleep. When a swim in the river isn’t enough to cool him down, Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends ask Little White Owl to tell them a really cold and sleepy bedtime story. Will she come up with a story that can make them feel cool and finally get Little Nutbrown Hare off to sleep? Big Storm: A Summer storm sweeps across the valley and a nervous Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends scamper into a cave with Big Nutbrown Hare. They are all safe and dry in the cave, but the thunder outside is still scary. Big Nutbrown Hare explains that noises can’t hurt you… but will he help them overcome their fears enough to enjoy the storm and the wonders of nature that it brings?

Autumn’s Here: Little Nutbrown Hare awakes to find the leaves changing colour and falling off the trees, the flowers dropping off the bushes and the tadpoles turning into frogs. Autumn is here and it’s time for change! Little Nutbrown Hare misses the joys of the Summer meadow. Will he discover that Autumn has it’s own delights? I Want to Fly: Chilly Autumn winds blow as Little Nutbrown Hare chases the beautiful fallen leaves. When one wafts so high that only a bird could catch it Little Nutbrown Hare wishes he could fly as well. He and Little Field Mouse try every way they can think of to fly, without luck. They have fun trying, however, and along the way they discover they have their own very special talents.

What Sound Does the Moon Make?: One bright moonlit Autumn night, the Nutbrown Hares are both having trouble sleeping. As they lay quietly in a pile of leaves they listen to the sounds of the night… swish, hoot, wobble, nibble, croak and splash! They go on a journey to discover what’s making the interesting night noises, but will they work out what sound the moon makes? Snow Blanket: The first snowfall of the Winter blankets the entire meadow, and Little Nutbrown Hare is confused because he can no longer see the bush, the log or his seedpod ball under all the snow! Will Little Nutbrown Hare be able to find his way around the meadow now that all his familiar places are covered under a blanket of fresh white snow?

Snowflake: On a snowy Winter’s morning Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse are amazed at the intricate patterns they find in the snowflakes, each one different from the others. The friends try to take one to show Big Nutbrown Hare, but they always melt before he sees them. Will they find a way to stop the lovely flakes from melting? Inside Day: Little Nutbrown Hare is fascinated that his friend Little Grey Squirrel is going to stay in his dray all Winter long. He and Little Field Mouse decide to hibernate in the hollow log until Spring, but soon become bored and fidgety. Little Field Mouse gives up and plays in the snow. Will Little Nutbrown Hare manage to stay inside, or will he be tempted out as well?

Slip Slop Slide: On a cold but sunny morning in the middle of Winter, Little Nutbrown Hare discovers his friends ice-skating on the frozen pond. He decides to give it a try but slips, slops and slides all over the ice. Will he persevere for long enough to be able to perfect his own unique style, or will he be put off by the natural skill of his friends? Where’s Little Redwood Fox?: Seeing his tracks in the fresh snow inspires Little Nutbrown Hare to create a new game called ‘snow seek’. The friends have a lot of fun creating tracks for Little Nutbrown Hare to follow, but Little Redwood Fox’s tracks completely disappear and so does she. When Big Nutbrown Hare reports that Little Redwood Fox was sighted walking backwards, they work out how she managed to trick them all.

Blossoms: It’s Spring blossom season and the pretty pink blossoms that come floating down the stream remind Big Nutbrown Hare of a magnificent cherry tree from his youth. He sets off cross- country to find it, with Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse, but the journey is longer and harder than he remembered. Will the blossoms floating downstream give them a clue as to a shorter way home? Hide n Seek: Big Nutbrown Hare teaches Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends to play hide-and-seek, but the boisterous little hare finds it hard to stay still and quiet, especially when the Spring meadow is full of birds, butterflies and lizards to chase. When he does manage to stay still and quiet he finds the creatures of the meadow come to him… even very shy ones.

Follow Me: Little Nutbrown Hare befriends a little yellow fluffy creature by the river, and it follows him everywhere, quacking and copying his every move. It’s too little to speak and doesn’t look like any creature Little Nutbrown Hare or his friends have seen before. How will he return it to its parents if he doesn’t know what kind of creature it is? Fly the Nest: Little Nutbrown Hare watches as Blue Bird’s eggs hatch into three happy, chirpy baby birds. Fascinated and charmed by these youngsters, he visits them every day and even helps teach them to sing, play and fly. But how will he feel when Summer is on its way and they are ready to fly the nest and make homes of their own?
