Emerging from the field of this weeks competitors as the “best” of their hood, Aaron Drysdale (Jamaica), Aisha Letman (Jackson Heights), McArthur “BGB” Simon (Flushing), and John “Fudge” Rickenbacker (Forest Hills) kick off a freestyle battle to determine which pairs will go head-to-head in Round 2. After this dizzying round of sharply stinging jokes, Wilmer gives stand-out BGB (Flushing) the right to challenge the competitor of his choice. BGB calls out Aaron (Jamaica), leaving Fudge (Forest Hills) to take on Aisha (Jackson Heights), setting up a “quite interesting” second round. Wilmer introduces the jury of previously defeated players: Richard “Rich” Parham (Astoria), Corey “Chuck” Thomas (Cambria Heights), Vince Luberto (Richmond Hill), and Boris Zilberman (Hollis).
