HJ5 actually finish a concert that Rudie booked them on the maiden voyage of the Trans Harajuku Express even though they're not on the train! HJ5 gives a concert of the ages, playing and dancing in and on top of various modes of transportation as they try madly to keep up with the Trans Harajuku Express. Rudie's booked the band for one gig every day this week, but he's also booked them TWO gigs on one day! Rather than cancel one of the gigs, where half the Harajuku record executives will be, G wants to do both. After attempting to race back and forth between venues, using everything from the jet-propelled HJ5 van, to a time machine, to cloning, G finally realizes they need to cancel both concerts, and stick to doing one thing at a time.

Love upgrades Rod's operating system, and he suddenly becomes irresistible to machines! At first it seems beneficial, as Rod drives the girls on an outing to the mall and every light turns green. But every mechanical object is in love with Rod, even going so far as to kidnap him! In the end, Love un-does the upgrade, and promises to never do it again. A nasty video blog (Krispin Krouton's Total Trash Talk) begins to spread rumors that HJ5 is breaking up, because Baby is dissatisfied! Unaccustomed to that kind of negative attention, they fake an HJ5 break-up to show up the blogger, and using Love's glitching Reversalator, accidentally create a "Bad" version of Baby, who breaks up with them for real!

Rudie wants to impress Golden Ear DeVeer, a famous music producer who loves magic, so he buys some cheap magic tricks for HJ5 to incorporate into their show. Unfortunately the tricks are cursed, and unleash mayhem, until a magical incantation is spoken to reverse everything. Golden Ear DeVeer offers them a contract on the spot, but when searching for a pen, Rudie accidentally grabs a magic wand instead and makes him vanish into thin air. Rudie's Grandma Rhodes inserts herself into the band's life with an impromptu visit. As it turns out, Rudie's told her he's a member of the band, and she wants to see him perform with his up and coming group.

Trashy gossip vlogger Krispin Krouton spreads lies about HJ5 that are big and outlandish. When his mobile media Dump Truck accidentally scoops up some radioactive goo, it comes to life, turning into a hulking menace known as Junkenstein. Baby comes up with a plan to create a super kawaii beast to fight it called Kitty Kong. In the end, the two monsters fall in love with each other. When Baby's favorite candy causes her gums to stick together, her retainer starts picking up radio waves. What is at first an annoying and crazy distraction ends up saving the day when Baby uses her new gift to help defeat a crazed record producer (actually General No-Fun) who captures HJ5 and tries to use them in a nefarious plot.

Colonel Spyke sends the girls undercover to help foil a dastardly plot to unleash a Zhoosher Ray that will turn Harajuku gray. Baby has been watching her favorite spy TV show, featuring Double-O Melon, and is excited to be a spy, too! But Spyke declares her role as, "The one who stands there looking cute." In the end, Baby channels her inner Double-O Melon and saves the day. HJ5 FINALLY finds the perfect opening act! The Fabulous Baron von Melody is an amazing and flamboyant performer, who supports HJ5 with a grand opening act. Sadly, the Baron has a secret identity, he's none other than General No-Fun's sidekick Colonel Bo-Ring, and he's just been given a mission by the General to destroy the Baron! HJ5 must help Bo-Ring fake the destruction of his alter ego.

Preparation for an important Twisty gig is interrupted when Baby brings home five stray Monster Pets. It's interrupted further when the girls accidentally switch minds with the little monsters! The Monster Pets (who now look like HJ5) are mistakenly taken to the venue by Rudie, leaving the girls (who now look like Monster Pets) locked in the lounge. The Monster Pet girls must escape from their own building, get to the venue and switch back into their own bodies before the Monster Pets ruin their reputation and their gig.

A mysterious vending machine appears in the Kuu Kuu Harajuku rehearsal room and the girls can't resist the tasty snacks they find inside. Sadly, the snacks seem to have side effects. Baby finds herself floating uncontrollably around the room; Love's legs go all rubbery; Music sneezes explosively; Angel grows a long purple beard; G blows super-bubbles every time she speaks. It's all a plot by General No-Fun to ruin an upcoming concert, but the girls put on an amazing show in spite of General No-Fun's devious snack food plot. Say-Wah, a self-centered, self-styled singer, still believes she should be part of HJ5. She invents a pair of hypersonic shoes that allow her to run so fast she's virtually invisible. Soon she's appearing in photos with the band, zipping in, posing and zipping out. She makes everyone believe she's the newest member of HJ5, even appearing with them on stage. The girls realize Say-Wah has an even deeper plan. Using her super-speed, she's going to steal HJ5's music. Love invents watches for the band that make them nearly as speedy as Say-Wah. This sets up a super-speed encounter that ends when G shorts out Say-Wah's shoes.

HJ5 take time out of their busy rehearsal schedule to play at the home of Tizzie Lizzie, their number one fan. She can afford to be; she's the daughter of the richest man in Harajuku, and she gets anything she asks for. Obsessed and over-the-top excited, the spoiled girl quickly gets on the nerves of our heroines. This is unfortunate, because Rudie has accidentally sold HJ5's contract to Tizzie's father. They can only play at Tizzie's house, and they can only play for Tizzie! While being pampered with manicures and pedicures, the girls have to entertain Tizzie throughout the day. They have GOT to get out of this contract. Rudie is back at KKH, and of no help whatsoever, but Love finds a loophole in the complex contract. They have to get fired. They irritate Tizzie, but she decides to auction off their contract instead of firing them! A mysterious stranger named Count Dorkula buys the contract. Luckily, the Count turns out to be Rudie. For once, Rudie actually saves the day! Problems at Kuu Kuu Harajuku! All the girls are online, but there's just not enough bandwidth. Rudie decides to help. There's a flash of light, and G and Love become icons on the HJ5 web page. They must travel through the web to find their band mates. If they don't find them and escape, they'll be caught in the web forever! Surfing the information superhighway, avoiding the computer's anti-virus defenses, they manage to locate Angel at a fashion website. Baby's on the Kutie Kawaii Korner page, and Music is playing Melon-Geddon. After many adventures, and with Rudie making things more difficult every step of the way, they're finally reunited. Just as time is about to run out, G's dog Chewie saves the day. He pushes Rudie, who's tangled in a mess of wires over to the plug and the girls are freed from the web!

Rudie, worried the girls won't be perfect in their appearance on the talk show Harajuku Live, installs the untested Glammo Lens 5000 on one of the cameras. The camera promptly sucks the band and their manager into the broadcast airwaves. Stuck way down the dial in a channel 19 Home Shopping Show, the girls must make their way back up the dial, completing episodes of cop shows, legal dramas, game shows, cooking competitions and more. They complete all the episodes and make it back in time for their performance. Sadly, the show's host CHET THE CHIMP destroys the cameras before they can perform. That's show business! HJ5 is appearing as the guest band on Mauve Madison's talk show when Rudie accidentally makes the hostess disappear. He volunteers to take her place while Love tries to figure out where she went. While completely ruining interviews with a hover-disk inventor, Twisty T and Zookeeper Smythe, Rudie manages to make Love and resident scientist Doctor Kawaiience, Master of Science disappear as well. G and the others finally figure out Rudie didn't make them disappear, he shrank them! Using the chaos Rudie created onstage, G brings the three back up to size and puts out the fires caused when Rudie brought some Fire Cats onstage! The whole set lies in ruins, but the episode's ratings were through the roof, so all is forgiven.

HJ5 are preparing for a concert benefiting the beautiful Harajuku Grove, which is scheduled to be destroyed to build a parking lot. They're getting no help from Rudie, who's playing video games in his tent. Rudie wanders out of the tent with his virtual reality glasses on. Thinking he's still in the game, he tries to destroy the grove, incurring the wrath of some giant glowing ladybugs. Baby convinces the ladybugs they mean no harm, and the ladybugs help them power up for the greatest benefit concert they've ever given! Music has a hobby, in secret she's been taking on the persona of the Kawaii Crusher and wrestling at the local Rumbletorium. Her two lives collide when Rudie books them at Kawaii Crusher's next match. With help from her friends, Music tries to perform both as the main attraction AND as a member of HJ5. Switching madly back and forth between her role as fierce wrestler and pop diva, Magic manages to entertain the crowd with her wrestling moves AND her music. With help from Rudie (who poses as the Crusher at key moments in the match) she pulls off the wrestling match of the century!
Angel Changel / Coulda Been

When Krispin Krouton publicly blames Angel's super high-heels for wrecking HJ5's show, Angel decides to quit the band. She records a farewell voicemail to them, but then finds herself being guided to visit the past, the present, and the future with three alternate-dimension versions of Monsieur LeZip, Twisty T, and Commander Bo-Ring. She learns that HJ5 don't blame her at all, Krispin Krouton has bad taste and she shouldn't have ever listened to him in the first place. Rudie dons a buggy Teleportation belt designed by Love to get around town faster, but is inadvertently taken to an alternate dimension where General No-Fun has taken over Harajuku, the HJ5 girls never met, and never formed the band. Rudie sets out to introduce them, get the band started, and get Harajuku kawaii again.

The girls are the proud owners of a cat café, where cats can speak with voice chips. General No-Fun and his cat Moods Meow sneak in to visit, and HJ5 learn that Moods has been creating his own kitty army to take over the world. HJ5 work to stop the ambitious kitty and his minions, who intend to give all of cat-kind their own voice chips, and allow them to join him in his talking-cat army. Rudie and HJ5 play a gig at the Howdy-Juku Theme Park, much to Music's disdain as she hates the Wild West. General No-Fun has his own evil plan to wreak havoc at the park. The General successfully sabotages a mechanical bull to rampage through the park and cause mayhem and destruction. The girls band together to stop the mechanical bull, and Music learns to have fun at Howdy-Juku.

Angel goes undercover for Colonel Spyke as Pepper von Salt to uncover the evil supergroup MEERKATZ diabolical plot. But as Pepper von Salt, Angel becomes a superstar, and forgets about her mission, to bask in the glory of fame. Once she realizes she's helping the MEERKATZ, she reveals she's actually Angel from HJ5, and foils the bad guys' plot. HJ5 sing for Panda Pete, who is obsessed with all things kawaii, and wants to create a new element called kawaii-um. He harnesses the band's kawaii-ness and successfully creates a pure kawaii-um blob. But the blob intends to consume the entire world. HJ5 fight kawaii-um with kawaii, destroy the blob, and save the world.
