In the sixth season of The Andy Griffith Show the Taylor family starts an exciting vacation to Hollywood in “The Taylors in Hollywood,” where Andy and Helen’s relationship is jolted by a photo of Andy and a famous starlet after it appears in the Mayberry paper. In the episode, “Aunt Bee Takes The Job,” Aunt Bee gets a job at the town print shop. The episode, “Goober’s Replacement,” Goober falls in love with the new waitress in town who has her eye on Andy. The season closes with the episode “A Singer In Town” in which Aunt Bee's original song about Mayberry becomes a hit when it’s played by a Rock Star on his television show.
