Smart Tiles (previously known as Tiles for Outlook) is a tool allowing custom tiles creation, including live tiles for various internet services, for your calendars, or static tiles for your favorite apps and websites. 🚧 BETA VERSION - DISCLAIMER 🚧 Please note that the product is available as a closed beta as of now and will be publicly available soon! Known bugs: • Importing existing tiles might fail. This issue is being investigated. • All tiles are updated (even static ones) which could lead to higher memory usage (when the background task runs) • Sources selection doesn't work properly if you come back to the Sources screen (after all, it's a beta version ;-) ) • When activating a tile, using the ""back"" key on mobile will show a black screen (which is in fact Smart Tiles itself), you can press back again to go back to your start screen 🚧 🚧 🚧 🚧 This release includes many bug fixes, but also many new features; here are some of them: • Create a live tile to keep an eye on your favorite crypto coins (source : Cryptocompare.com) • Display a cool quote from forismatic.com • Create custom applications tiles (even transparent ones) if squares are not your thing. • Custom patterns to replace recuring text by whatever text you want • Totally new design • Faster, better, easier to use • Coming soon: launch any Win32 (exe) application from a custom tile. • Coming soon: launch any app without displaying Smart Tiles launch screen (being tested right now).
