Description
This new documentary celebrates the iconic South African rock band's 20th anniversary and tells the story of how, through a series of serendipitous events in the early 90's in a small wine making town near Cape Town, five young rebellious Afrikaners became Springbok Nude Girls - one of South Africa's most acclaimed rock acts. Known for their high energy stage antics and unique musical sound which combines Punk, Reggae, Scat, Metal, Funk and Jazz the film uses archived performance & interview footage from the last two decades to illustrate Springbok Nude Girls compelling story - from their early beginnings during the crippling censorship of Apartheid South Africa & into the democratic era from 1994.
