After taking a job at a mysterious library, Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle), quickly realizes he has become the protector of a range of historical and magical items, including Excalibur and Pandora's Box. When part of the Spear of Destiny is stolen, Flynn sets out to get it back with the help of fellow librarian Nicole Noone.
