New Power Pages site search with generative AI summarization experience
We are excited to announce the launch of the new Power Pages site search with generative AI summarization, available for site version 9.6.3.41 and onwards. This new feature significantly enhances the existing keyword-based query search by incorporating AI-driven summarization capabilities.
With this addition, site users can now:
- Search using natural language prompts: Users can enter search queries in natural language instead of keyword-based phrases, making search experience more intuitive and user-friendly.
- Intent-based content retrieval: The search feature understands the overall intent of the query, providing more accurate and relevant results, completely grounded in the website’s content.
- Precise and relevant summaries: Responses are generated with concise summaries using generative AI that capture the essential information users are looking for.
- Citations for original content: Each summarized response includes citations, allowing users to trace back to the original webpage (or pages in case of content being provided from more than one page) for more detailed information.
- Configurable search options: Makers can configure the site to display both search summarization and keyword query results side by side or choose to enable either one based on user needs.
This enhancement leverages semantic search powered by Dataverse to deliver a more efficient and effective search experience, helping users find the information they need quickly and accurately.
