About Faculty Summit
The twelfth Microsoft Research Faculty Summit provided a forum for lively debate of the development, application, and funding of technologies in the environmental, medical, and educational spheres over a long period of time. The program consisted of a variety of keynotes, talks, panels, workshops, and demonstrations. Participants came away with a much better idea of the integral part that industrial research plays in society, education, and technology transfer, and how they can contribute to this thriving community in the future.
