Sumit Gulwani (opens in new tab) received POPL’s Most Influential Paper Award 2021 (opens in new tab) for his paper Automating String Processing in Spreadsheets Using Input-Output Examples (opens in new tab). This is the second consecutive year in a row that Sumit has been honored with this award. It is presented annually to the author(s) of a paper presented at the POPL 10 years prior that had the greatest influence over the past decade.
