The Second Women in KDD Workshop is a day-long event co-located with ACM SIGKDD 2022 (opens in new tab). This day-long workshop will focus on both the challenges and opportunities for women (female-identifying and non-binary) and their allies as we work towards more gender equity, diversity and inclusion in both academia and industry. Keynote speakers will highlight the extraordinary work being done in this space and also the need to think big in order to drive systemic change. Panel discussions will focus on career journeys and what it takes to succeed in the various career paths that are open to academics, engineers and entrepreneurs alike. The Women’s Lunch and wiML-hosted mentoring session will provide an opportunity to network and be inspired by the community. The workshop is held again this year in association with WiML (opens in new tab).
