I am a senior researcher in the Machine Learning Foundations group.

I work at the intersection of mathematical optimization and sampling. This has application to the inference complexity of diffusion models for example. I am also interested in language models (large AND small).

Prior to joining MSR, I was a research fellow at UC Berkeley (Simons Institute).
