About
Chuan’s research interests cover Genomics, Virology and Computational Biology. Before joining AI4Science, she was an Associate Professor at China Agricultural University, where she focused on discovering novel viruses using meta-genomic sequencing. She did her PhD and postdoc at University of Cambridge, where her research led to the discovery of novel host antiviral immune mechanisms. She also did a postdoc at Wellcome Sanger Institute and applied single-cell sequencing and genome editing techniques in drug discovery.
