About
I am a machine learning researcher in the Health Intelligence (opens in new tab) group at Microsoft Research Cambridge, working on medical image analysis as part of Project InnerEye (opens in new tab). I am interested in combining causality, probabilistic modelling, and deep learning—aiming to build machine-learning systems for healthcare that are informed by domain expertise and are reliable, transportable, interpretable, and data-efficient.
Prior to joining Microsoft Research, I completed my MRes and PhD work in machine learning for medical imaging (opens in new tab) at Imperial College London, after graduating from École Centrale Paris (Dipl. Ing.) and PUC-Rio (BSc).
