About

Daniel Munoz Huerta is working on applying AI to a diverse range of problems with experience in both Machine Learning and Software Engineering, to create a well-rounded Machine Learning Engineer.

Through his tenure at the Microsoft AI Development Acceleration Program otherwise known as MAIDAP he collaborated with multiple cross discipline teams inside of Microsoft in order to develop AI solutions for them. His work at MAIDAP includes NLP,  LLMs, AI Agents, Recommendation Systems, Privacy Preserving AI, Time Series Data, and Deep Learning. His time at MAIDAP also included the development of AI experiments in order to assess model performance and do hyper parameter searches. Through a team effort Daniel and his collogues, in collaboration with the research team at GSL, received a patent for their work.

Daniel is passionate about leveraging AI in order to create novel applications that would have not been possible beforehand or would otherwise have very high costs. He’s also passionate about increasing the access of AI knowledge and skills to people form nonacademic backgrounds.

MAIDAP is a program based in the Microsoft New England Research and Development Center otherwise known as the NERD Center in Cambridge Massachusetts.

Daniel Munoz continues to contribute and grow as a Machine Learning Engineer.
