My primary area of interest is the junction of Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). At Microsoft, I am part of  MSAI organization, managing and leading a science team with the goal to empower, enable and deliver impact user experience across M365 applications by leveraging AI technologies. Prior to Microsoft, I spent roughly 3 years each at Amazon AI and eBay Research Labs leading the science teams on a range of NLP projects and successfully turning them into customer offerings. I was part of NLP Lab at University of Sheffield, UK as Postdoctoral Research Associate for 4 years. I completed my PhD in Computer Science from University of Le Mans, France in 2012. During my academic years my main area of research was machine translation, domain adaptation and quality estimation.
